How do I book a picnic?
Deposit
Refunds and Cancellations
Please submit an email enquiry or contact me on the phone and include details on the following:
After the details of your event are confirmed, you’ll be provided with an event proposal and our T&C’s to review and sign along and a payment link to secure your event date.
Please note that we require a 30% deposit of the invoiced amount to confirm all bookings.
Please note that we require a credit card to be held on file for all confirmed bookings in the event there are any unpaid balances or newly incurred fees such as penalty fees, cost to replace damaged / missing items, fees for same-day time extensions, etc…
Once the deposit is paid, you will receive a confirmation email with a new balance and payment due date.
The client has up to 10 days prior to the event to cancel with a full refund.
If the client cancels within 5 days prior to the event date, the client will be entitled to a 50% refund.
If the client cancels less than 48 hours prior to the event date, the client will not be entitled to a refund, however will be offered the option to reschedule subject to availability.
Travel Surcharges
Daisy Chain will set up at a chosen location within 40 miles of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire free of charge.
A travel surcharge of 0.50p will be charged per mile outside of this radius + any road charges & parking fees.
Please keep in mind that an accessible car park is a must when we set up and cannot be more than a 2-3 minute walk from the setup spot.
Service Fee
A 20% service fee will be added to the total cost of your invoice for the planners time in organising any services required for the event which are outside of the packaged agreement i.e. external suppliers providing goods for the event.
Weather
The weather in England can be tricky and we will keep a close eye on it leading up to the event and do our best to accommodate.
If there is bad weather in the forecast, we will contact you three days before the event and make an effort to work with you and may suggest an alternative solution including rescheduling for another day or relocating your event indoors and will provide these options without a penalty fee.
However, if the event is being held outdoors we are unable to offer refunds in the event of inclement weather as other bookings will have been turned away to service your event.
Set up on the day
Our planner will arrive to the chosen location 1.5 hours prior to the agreed start time to set up.
We will make all efforts to have your setup ready by your scheduled start time and will allow a 30 minute grace period for your arrival.
If you do not arrive within this grace period, we will have the right to cancel your event without a refund and/or the option to reschedule their event.
Can we bring alcohol?
Our events are BYO - We welcome our clients to bring any beverages they would like to have at their event. Chat to the planner about adding on ice buckets and ice to the event package.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the client to check alcohol laws of any venue or public space being used for our pop-up picnics or other events.
The planner takes no responsibility for any alcohol consumption or penalties.
Catering
We welcome our clients to bring their own food to the event. We can provide platters and stands as an add on to the event package for you and your guests to lay out the food as you please.
We also work with some fantastic catering companies who can provide grazing boards and boxes, afternoon tea packages and other delicious treats.
Our planner will discuss the catering options with you and will happily arrange any additional services for the full picnic experience.
Clients responsibility
Our clients are responsible for the equipment and setup during the duration of their scheduled event time and are required to stay with the equipment until the planner arrives for the pack down.
Our planner will be nearby, so if you wish to leave the picnic before the agreed end time then please call or message and we will meet you within 20 minutes.
We do not offer partial refunds if you end your picnic sooner than your reserved end time.
